By specifically investing in apprentices’ training and collaborating with schools, KMF not only supports the professional futures of young people but also strengthens the connection between education and practice. A particularly creative example of this commitment is the joint design and construction of a sculpture by KMF apprentices and students from HTL Villach. This unique sculpture visually enhances the new roundabout on Italiener Stra\u00dfe in Villach.<\/p>\n

Colour scheme<\/h3>\n

The colour palette has been updated to incorporate modern and trustworthy tones. The main colours are a deep blue, a signal yellow and a light grey, which indicate stability and reliability, while the accent colours represent innovative and dynamic aspects.<\/p>\n

It is modeled after the wooden trophy for the Bruno Gironcoli Award and now graces the entrance to the town. The reinforced concrete foundation on which the 6.35-meter high, 20-ton structure made of rust-brown Corten steel rests was constructed with assistance from HTL Villach students. The project provided them with the chance to effectively combine theory and practice while gaining valuable hands-on experience. KMF’s main role involved the technical realization of the design idea, static calculations, and production. The project was executed in close collaboration with HTL Villach and the city of Villach.<\/p>\n
